About The Position

Grow a dynamic, innovative water team in the Carolinas! V3 is growing rapidly in the water sector nationally and is looking for a senior Water Supply & Wastewater (WS/WW) leader to build our practice in the Carolinas. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys combining project leadership with client engagement and team development. You’ll lead and deliver complex WS/WW work from one of our vibrant local office while collaborating with a strong and expanding national water team.

Requirements

Registered professional engineer with at least 10 years of industry experience.
Leadership experience in municipal water supply and/or wastewater consulting.
Strong background in pump stations, treatment facilities and/or linear infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects from early planning through design and construction support.
Strong local network and credibility in the Carolinas water community; active involvement with industry organizations.
Collaborative leadership style, strong communication, and comfort guiding multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and delivery of water supply and/or wastewater projects, such as pump stations, treatment facilities and linear conveyance/collection.
Lead business development; client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development, proposals, and interviews.
Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and regional agencies in the Carolinas; bring awareness of market needs, funding drivers, and delivery expectations.
Mentor and support team growth; contribute to consistent, high‑quality delivery through repeatable workflows and collaboration.
Manage multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate technical integration across civil, process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and structural engineers.
Engage and enrich the local professional community.
