About The Position

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is a leading manufacturer of Display Cases, Specialty Products, Refrigeration Systems, Power Systems and Comprehensive Services. DFR is part of the Refrigeration and Food Equipment segment of the Dover Corporation® (NYSE: DOV). As a Water Strider Team Lead, your primary mission is to keep production moving. You ensure Water Striders are delivering material to the right place at the right time, minimizing downtime and maximizing the productivity of the entire assembly team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
  • Constant walking; frequent standing and reaching.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, squatting, and climbing/balancing.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize material flow by creating systematic Just-In-Time (JIT) routes and timelines.
  • Manage material scanning processes to ensure inventory accuracy at the point of use.
  • Validate material inventory on the production line to support daily requirements.
  • Interpret work orders, requisitions, supply demand documents, and bills of materials to identify required parts and tools.
  • Act as a focal point in the material flow process, collaborating with operations and assembly personnel to clear hurdles and keep production on track.
  • Promote Lean initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts within your team to refine floor processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Identify equipment maintenance needs and adhere to all PPE and safety protocols.
