Grow with us, H2O+U. Your Opportunity As an Intern for Summer 2027 based in our Ann Arbor, MI office, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to water resources related projects. Our projects involve, dams and river diversions, land development, stream restoration, water and wastewater utilities, survey, and other aspects of civil engineering. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken water resources and other civil engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must have good organizational skills, be reliable, detail orientated and capable of working independently on assigned tasks.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program for Civil and/or Environmental Engineering degree or other technical disciplines.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

• Desired software applications include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcMap/GIS
• Previous internship or co-op experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assisting with field work for data collection, survey, site inspections and observations.
• Preparing spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports.
• assist in preparing design and construction plans, specifications, quantity take-offs and construction estimates.
• Supporting Project Managers with various tasks to advance and track project progress.
