Requirements

  • B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
  • 5-10 years’ water resources-related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
  • Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
  • Team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Progressive experience conducting business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects in coastal and interior drainage communities, including Stormwater Pump Stations, flood control channels and tide gates.
  • Dam Safety and design experience.
  • Knowledge and Experience with USACE Civil Works projects.
  • P.E. certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analysis.
  • Develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities.
  • Write specifications and construction documents.
