McCormick Taylor is seeking a Water Resources Engineer III to join its growing Water Resources Engineering Group. The role works on a variety of projects, including stormwater management and roadway drainage design, as well as hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations supporting bridge and culvert designs.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in stormwater management, drainage design, or hydrologic and hydraulic analysis supporting design activities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
- PennDOT stormwater design experience preferred.
- NPDES permitting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drainage and stormwater management designs and plans.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks.
- Conduct field assessments.
- Mentor and provide oversight to junior staff.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies and clients.
- Support marketing activities and proposal writing.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules.
