About The Position

CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Water Park Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of all water park attractions, pools, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. The hotel is a family-friendly hotel with 392 spacious guest rooms and a one-of-a-kind 54,000 sq. ft. canopy-covered/outdoor water park located on Orlando's iconic International Drive. Along with exhilarating water slides and refreshing swimming pools, the hotel is home to a 6,500 sq. ft. arcade, two restaurants, an on-site convenience store, fitness center and more. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair water park attractions, pumps, filtration systems, and chemical controllers.
  • Conduct routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing pool surfaces, and cleaning filters and strainers.
  • Test and balance water chemistry daily to maintain proper disinfectant and pH levels in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs for maintenance activities, inspections, and water testing.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems related to pools and attractions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair water features, slides, and interactive play structures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Assist with seasonal openings, shutdowns, and special projects.
  • Ensure pool decks, equipment rooms, and chemical storage areas are clean, safe, and organized.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Work closely with lifeguards, operations staff, and management to ensure safe water conditions.
