We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor to support our growing operations at our project sites located across Western Canada. In this role, you’ll help keep our values alive — ensuring that as we scale, we continue to lead with care, connection, and community.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of industry experience, or strong skills that show readiness for the role.
  • Mechanically inclined and eager to keep learning on the job.
  • Understand the responsibilities that come with supervising a crew, including staying aligned with provincial laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to give and receive verbal information and direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Valid class 5 drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees multiple projects simultaneously or large/complex projects.
  • Sets execution strategy and ensures compliance with project plans.
  • Identifies risks early and implements mitigation strategies.
  • Involves and works with stakeholders appropriately and effectively.
  • Sets the safety culture on all projects with full compliance with company and regulatory safety and environmental standards.
  • Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure project profitability and cost control.
  • Reviews and adjusts labour, equipment, and production plans to meet margin targets.
  • Provides input into bids.
  • Creates an engaging environment for teams, often across multiple sites and in accordance with KBL Values.
  • Responsible for resource planning, performance management, employee development.
  • Has a deep level of understanding of advanced water management solutions including water treatment, sludge treatment, stormwater management and able to learn our specialized systems and related equipment.
