Requirements

  • 1 or more years of water mitigation, restoration, or related field experience preferred
  • IICRC WRT or ASD certification a plus, willingness to obtain is required
  • Comfortable working in challenging conditions including confined spaces, high humidity, and homes with active damage
  • Strong communicator, you can talk to a stressed homeowner and a project manager with equal confidence
  • Detail oriented, your documentation and moisture logs are accurate and complete every time
  • Self-motivated and reliable, you take ownership of your jobs from the first call to the last reading
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required
  • Willing to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response

Responsibilities

  • Respond to water loss calls including after-hours and weekend emergencies as part of an on-call rotation
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, and content manipulation to return properties to pre-loss conditions
  • Set, monitor, and adjust drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers based on psychrometric readings
  • Conduct mold remediation including containment, removal, and clearance documentation
  • Document all job activity thoroughly in DASH including photos, moisture readings, equipment placement, and daily notes
  • Communicate daily with homeowners, property managers, office staff, and project managers on job progress
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your company vehicle and the warehouse
  • Ensure your vehicle is stocked and ready for any job at any time
  • Work collaboratively with other techs, leads, and project managers on larger losses
