Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating water jet cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Experience measuring and inspecting parts to print using standard inspection tools.
• Knowledge of water jet safety procedures and best practices.
• Familiarity with water jet nozzles, cutting parameters, and material applications.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
• Experience using overhead cranes or other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate water jet cutting equipment to produce precision-cut parts according to engineering specifications.
• Adjust machine settings and monitor performance to support efficient, accurate production.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools and prints to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, seal changes, and general upkeep.
• Troubleshoot equipment or cutting issues and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Safely load and handle materials using overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and workflow.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
