About The Position

This position will assist in performing hydraulic analysis, planning/reviewing new and existing water infrastructure, updating and calibrating hydraulic models, reviewing new development, and collecting field pressure and flow data. Prior knowledge of hydraulic analysis and model construction is not required. The selected candidate will be trained in performing hydraulic analysis and model construction. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional engineering environment while assisting in finding solutions to challenging water infrastructure planning and management issues. Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Available to work up to 25 hours weekly
  • A valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
