About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office. This role involves providing administrative and operations support, compiling data and preparing project-related reports, performing engineering calculations under supervision, and conducting field observations of construction as appropriate. The intern will also perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
- Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
- Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operations support.
- Compile data and prepare reports related to projects.
- Perform engineering calculations under supervision.
- Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
- Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
