About The Position
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to their Naperville team!
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in potable water system analysis/design
- Illinois P.E. License (or the ability to obtain through reciprocity)
- Experience in potable water hydraulic modeling, including master planning
- Experience in delivering detailed water system design/plan preparation
- Proficient with ArcGIS and WaterGEMS and/or InfoWater Pro
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling to inform infrastructure planning and optimize operations
- Lead preparation of water system master plans
- Evaluate/design potable water facilities and water mains
- Manage water distribution system study/design projects
- Perform quality control reviews of water models, reports, and/or design
- Lead teams of project engineers and technical support staff
- Prepare plans/specifications for construction
- Represent firm at municipal meetings
- Prepare competitive proposals and participate in client interviews
- Assist with business development activities
