About The Position

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is hiring a Water Heater Install Helper to support our installation team and learn the skills needed to grow in the industry. This is a full-time position for individuals looking to build their skills in the plumbing trade and gain hands-on experience with water heater installations.

Requirements

Some plumbing, construction, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred, but not required
Willingness to learn and develop skills in residential plumbing
Comfortable working in residential homes and job sites
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical job duties
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Motivated to build a long-term career in the skilled trades
All candidates must pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening, including criminal and DMV review.

Responsibilities

Assist lead installers with water heater installations and replacements
Help with installation of tank and tankless water heaters
Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
Prepare job sites and ensure the work area is clean and safe
Assist with plumbing connections, fittings, piping, and other installation tasks
Follow direction from lead installers and learn proper installation techniques
Help ensure installations are completed efficiently and professionally
Maintain a clean, organized vehicle, tools, and job site
Provide a positive and professional experience for homeowners
Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards
