About The Position

SERVPRO is hiring Restoration Technicians for our water, fire and mold restoration team. This is a hands-on job working in homes and businesses after water damage, fires, mold and other property losses. Our technicians handle everything from water extraction and drying to demolition and removal of damaged building materials. We will train the right person, and no restoration experience is required. If you have experience in construction, demolition, maintenance, landscaping, moving, warehouse work or another hands-on job, that experience can translate well. If you don't have experience but you're dependable, willing to work and want to learn a trade, we still want to talk to you.

Can communicate professionally with customers
Have a valid driver's license
Are comfortable working in homes, businesses, basements, crawl spaces and other job-site environments
Can lift 50+ pounds

Nice To Haves

Construction, demolition, maintenance, cleaning, water damage or restoration experience is a plus.
IICRC certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Respond to water, fire and mold damage jobs
Extract standing water
Perform demolition and remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets and other building materials
Set up air movers, dehumidifiers and other drying equipment
Take moisture readings and monitor the drying process
Set up containment and protection when needed
Clean and treat affected areas
Assist with fire and smoke damage cleanup
Move furniture and contents when necessary
Take photos and document work performed
Load, unload and maintain equipment
Keep trucks, equipment and job sites clean and organized
Work alongside experienced Crew Chiefs and Project Managers
