Requirements

Experience teaching group exercise classes.
Current CPR & First Aid certification.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching water aerobics or similar water-based classes.
Accredited group fitness certification (e.g., Aquatic Exercise Association - AEA).

Responsibilities

Teach water aerobics classes when the regular instructor is out.
Lead small group classes in the pool (4-12 students).
Deliver fun, low-impact workouts.
Demonstrate exercises in the water for a full 60-minute class.
Provide modifications and progressions based on fitness and swimming abilities.
Communicate exercises clearly and effectively.
Teach with or without music.
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude.
Must be comfortable teaching outdoors in sunny conditions.
