About The Position

Brinker’s Jewelers is seeking a watchmaker or watch technician to join their well-equipped watch department. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on watch repair experience who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. While mastery is not expected initially, practical experience with watches, movements, diagnostics, and basic service and repair procedures is necessary. The company is open to international candidates with 4-year college degrees. This is a long-term career opportunity within a luxury retail setting, focusing on quality pieces rather than high-volume repairs.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with wristwatch repair or service
• Ability to service common mechanical ETA calibers
• Experience in diagnosing mechanical and quartz movement issues
• Familiarity with modern wristwatch calibers
• Strong attention to detail and patience at the bench
• A willingness to learn and accept coaching
• Pride in clean, careful, high-quality work
• Good communication skills in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Formal watchmaking school
• Brand certifications
• CW21 certification

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical and quartz watches
• De-casing and re-casing watches
• Cleaning and servicing mechanical movements
• Working with common ETA and similar mechanical calibers
• Replacing worn or damaged components
• Installing gaskets and crowns
• Timing and regulating watches
• Performing water resistance testing
• Completing quality control checks
• Supporting polishing, refinishing, and exterior service when appropriate
• Maintaining clean, organized, professional bench practices
