About The Position
Join the Environmental Utilities Wastewater Collections division as a WASTEWATER UTILITY MAINTENANCE WORKER. The City of Roseville is seeking motivated individuals to join our team maintaining and improving vital wastewater infrastructure. Whether you're just starting your career or bringing proven field experience, you'll work with skilled professionals; perform a variety of tasks in the construction, maintenance and repair of wastewater systems facilities; operate specialized equipment and help keep our wastewater systems running safely and efficiently. This is your chance to gain valuable experience, develop new skills and grow within a supportive public service environment. The current opening is for a regular full-time benefitted position but the list may be utilized to fill future regular, temporary, or limited-term vacancies in the City for the duration of the list. Requirements
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Class B driver’s license within six months of appointment (for Worker I).
- Completion of Volume 1 “Operation of Wastewater Collections Systems” published by the Office of Water Programs, CSUS within six months of appointment (for Worker I).
- Possession of a valid California Class B driver’s license by date of application (for Worker II).
- Possession of a California Water Environment Association Collections System Maintenance Grade I certificate by date of application (for Worker II).
Nice To Haves
- Some general maintenance and/or construction experience is preferred (for Worker I).
