About The Position
This position is responsible for the operation, upkeep, and maintenance of the wastewater facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General Microbiological skills.
- General Chemistry skills.
- General Maintenance skills.
- General Organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Daily operation of Wastewater Plant.
- Maintaining daily sampling routine.
- Performing COD, TSS, Total Solids, DO, and other analysis on daily samples.
- Performing root cause analysis of operational and mechanical issues.
- Interpreting daily results for operational trends.
- Making informed adjustments based on Daily data collection.
- Monitoring microbial condition of sludge and various stages of process.
- Performing required PM’s.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Organizing other maintenance tasks with Maintenance supervisor.
- Monitoring effluent samples for excessive losses.
- Testing effluent samples to provide plant management with loss results.
- Providing feedback to plant management in report form on daily effluent characteristics.
- Organizing and overseeing spill clean-ups.
- Monitoring and reporting spills to proper personnel.
- Effectively communicate issues and ideas to Waste Water Operator.
- Provide support for carry over on task completion.
