About The Position
This role involves operating and monitoring the wastewater treatment system, performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections, and clearing blockages to maintain proper flow. The technician will also diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, repair equipment as needed, and maintain accurate maintenance and wastewater treatment logs. Responsibilities include conducting basic lab analyses, performing simple calculations, and communicating issues and status updates to management. Other relevant duties as required will also be part of the role.
Requirements
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow through the system.
- Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
- Repair equipment as necessary.
- Maintain maintenance logs.
- Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
- Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations.
- Communicate issues and status updates to management.
- All other relevant duties as required.
