Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
Experience with wastewater and water treatment processes
Experience with chemical process units
Previous environmental experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Experience with spreadsheet and/or database application programs (such as Microsoft Excel and/or Access and SharePoint)
Strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in teams
Positive attitude

Responsibilities

Process engineering oversight of regenerable ion exchange operations including ion exchange vessels, distillation column, hot oil heater, high pressure reverse osmosis unit, and thin film evaporator.
Optimize treatment effectiveness using operations data
Conduct process modeling, data analysis, and technical evaluations to improve efficiency
Develop and maintain standard work and process control procedures for process units
Lead investigation teams as needed including conducting root cause investigations
Collaborate with EHS Laboratory on PFAS analytical data
Provide engineering support to Operations including troubleshooting issues and recommending corrective actions. Must be available outside of traditional work hours to help address equipment issues.
Actively participate in and may lead project planning efforts. Suggest changes or future direction as needed. Participates in implementing changes and future direction.
Ensure regulatory obligations, safety requirements, and productivity objectives.
Drive continuous improvement projects to decrease environmental impact, improve safety, increase productivity, & reduce cost.
Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
