About The Position
Incumbents perform skilled activities related to the operation of water reclamation facilities (including Bio solids handling), reclaimed water systems, and recharge basins and wells. Incumbents are responsible for complying with regulations and permit conditions. Incumbents monitor treatment processes, perform laboratory analyses, inspect equipment, perform troubleshooting activities, take compliance samples, keep regulatory records, perform minor maintenance, and use a computerized maintenance management system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two years of wastewater utilities experience
- Valid Arizona driver license
- Arizona State Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification
- Arizona State Grade 1 Wastewater Collections System Operator Certification
