About The Position

A Wastewater Level A Operator understands most of the overall operations and should be able to rebuild all pumps/equipment. This role requires a Level III WW License and at least two years acting in a position of Direct Responsible Charge. The operator will assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for the water treatment system, including oversight of all required monitoring and reporting sample results mandated by federal, state, and local regulations. Adherence to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lock Out Tag Out procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters is crucial. The role involves the operation of the Water Treatment system, maintaining the maintenance schedule, and responding to repairs. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for compliance recordkeeping and performing Process Control lab work.

Requirements

• Level III WW license
• At least two years acting in a position of Direct Responsible Charge.
• 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities of Class II or higher; two years in a position of Direct Responsible Charge.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent credit hours in any other curriculum board approved.
