About The Position

This position involves coordinating with other departments for smooth operations and communication, while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all Walmart policies and procedures. The role requires an advanced understanding of production techniques and processes in an assigned area, ensuring quality standards are met and products are produced according to company standards. A strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures is essential. Responsibilities include managing inventory (receiving, stocking, ordering materials), accurately following recipes and preparation instructions, and effectively managing time for efficient task completion, including preparing customer orders and maintaining a clean work area. The Lead Associate is expected to lead by example, providing guidance and support to other associates, and maintaining accurate records and reports (production, inventory, employee performance). The role also emphasizes compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, completing work assignments by collaborating with various partners, identifying improvement opportunities, and adapting to change. Requirements

• 1 year's experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1 year's experience working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures to ensure company standards are met
• Manages inventory including receiving stocking and ordering materials as needed
• Accurately follows recipes and preparation instructions to ensure all products are prepared to company quality standards
• Effectively manages time to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks including preparing products for customer orders and maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Leads by example providing guidance and support to other associates as needed
• Maintains accurate records and reports including production reports inventory levels and employee performance
• Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
