About The Position

Woodard & Curran is seeking a motivated entry-level Wastewater Engineer to join their Rye Brook, NY office. This role offers hands-on experience in wastewater collection systems, infrastructure assessment, condition evaluation, and rehabilitation projects. The engineer will work closely with experienced professionals on projects serving communities in Westchester County and the surrounding region, from field investigations to design and construction oversight. Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in civil, environmental, wastewater, or related engineering fields.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Interest in hands-on field work supporting wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Westchester County and the surrounding region.
  • Excellent computer, verbal, and written skills required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain EIT certification.

Nice To Haves

  • EIT certification
  • Experience with AutoCAD or GIS software

Responsibilities

  • Provide entry-level engineering support in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater projects, primarily focused on municipal engineering and utility design.
  • Participate in field investigations, data collection, and condition assessments of wastewater collection system infrastructure.
  • Review CCTV inspection data, field reports, utility records, and asset information.
  • Support the planning, design, rehabilitation, and construction oversight of wastewater collection and treatment projects.
  • Assist with data analysis, technical evaluations, and engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with project team members, municipal clients, contractors, and operations staff.
  • Serve as an integral member of project teams, working with staff of all levels under the supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer.
