About The Position

Newcut is a photochemical machining company which manufactures precision components for the aerospace, defense, medical and food services industries. The primary role of this position is to operate Microfiltration System and assist with the safety program.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED with work experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving skills
Detail oriented
Ability to read and understand regulatory requirements, communicate with agencies and develop procedures
Good oral and written skills
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Requires standing, walking and ability to use a ladder
Assist with the upkeep of manufacturing areas and providing a clean and safe work environment
Mechanical abilities

Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliance with all regulations
Monitor treatment plants to ensure proper water flow and make necessary adjustments or clean-outs as needed
Follow appropriate policies and procedures, and a schedule of needed testing
Assist with the company safety program and ensure operations meet OSHA requirements.
Ensure all necessary chemicals are delivered and safely stored
Maintain a clean work area
Assist other departments as needed
Other duties as assigned
