About The Position

Operate and monitor Waste Water Treatment Facility to insure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and standards for the treatment of hazardous waste and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to Wast Water Treatment and Plating equipment.

Requirements

• High School/GED (minimum)
• Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste Certifications required within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Proper start up and shutdown of Waste Water Treatment system, makes up chemical's, monitors system closely and makes adjustments to chemical feed rates as required
• Analyzes water samples for PH, Cyanide, Chrome, and metals as required, along with manually treating water collected in batch treatment tanks
• Troubleshoots problems with pumps, solenoids, mixers, control instruments and other equipment, and also calibrates PH, ORP, and level control instruments.
• Receives chemicals and sliders and stores in proper area.
• Makes repairs or modifications to PVC Piping, completes daily check list and batches treatment reports.
• Operates plating, zinc phosphate and plating machiner, inspects quality of finished goods and labeling and scanning where applicable.
• Performs other duties as required by management
