About The Position

Oversees the daily functions in the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure the continued flow of product to include inspecting the equipment and making the appropriate adjustments to maintain, diagnose, and make the chemical changes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitors control panels and wastewater equipment and making the appropriate adjustments to valves to regulate flow of product. Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings. Always wearing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as assigned in your work area. Follow USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program for product performance and safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Regularly required to stand.
Frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to climb or balance.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
