About The Position

The Waste Processing Technician II (WPT II) is an intermediate-level position within the facility operations at Reworld. The WPT II will be experienced and capable of performing industrial waste processing across all waste streams, utilizing the various technologies and equipment at their disposal, with minimal direct supervision.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
1 year of experience or more
Ability to pass the respirator fit test
Ability to utilize NetSuite
Must demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate attention to detail and time management
Must be able to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power equipment
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Kneel, crawl, bend, twist, or stoop for extended periods
Walk and/or stand and/or sit for extended periods
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Understand basic facility permit requirements and perform daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
Operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power equipment, in accordance with company policies and procedures and OSHA requirements.
Safely operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift) within the facility boundaries.
Be able to unload incoming packages, tankers, and containers.
Process incoming materials utilizing facility equipment and mobile equipment.
Quality control/quality assurance of waste stream and associated lab analysis related to waste and material receipt and shipment.
Complete and submit all facility-associated documentation (facility receipts, part counts, material verification, manifest review, etc.) associated with regulatory and safety record keeping.
General cleaning of the facility and grounds.
