About The Position

Assists with waste and manure collection. This role requires adherence to safety policies, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position involves working around heavy equipment and potentially in challenging environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year related experience and/or training; or combination.
• Must be able to operate a motorized golf cart or gator.
• Must be familiar with working around heavy equipment and trucking operations.
• Must be able to follow instruction.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions.
• Texas Racing Commission License (TXRC)
• Class C driver license
• Ability to carry several instruments/equipment or tools while walking extensively.
• Ability to work in confined areas, tanks, heat stress conditions, high noise and areas with chemical hazards.
• Medium to Heavy workload
• Stand, sit and walk consistently
• Will be required to lift up to or over 20lbs or exert occasionally over 100lbs
• Will consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach
• Will use office equipment
• Driving motor vehicles as needed
• Frequently speak and articulate
• Noise levels will be varied from moderate to heavy machinery

Nice To Haves

• Preferred familiarity with intermodal container maintenance.
• Preferred familiarity with compliance issues related to Waste Acceptance Criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assists with waste and manure collection.
• Immediately reports problems with tools, equipment, or work assignment directly to the supervisor or lead.
• Participates in meetings, training and other company-related activities as scheduled.
• Seeks out the assistance of a supervisor to address questions and concerns.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures in accordance with company standards.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including departmental policies and TX Racing Commission rules.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
