About The Position

The Waste Handling Supervisor is responsible for managing, delegating job assignments and provide guidance to the waste management team members and arrange disposal of client waste. Supervisors are assigned in organizing a steady flow of recyclable goods. These items include but not limited to large cardboard items, plastic, scrap, refuse and wooden shipping pallets. All staff will be trained on safety protocols and distribution of materials. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful and heathy work environment.

Requirements

Experience in waste management or a related field.
Leadership or supervisory experience.
Knowledge of safety protocols.
Ability to organize and manage a team.
Ability to arrange waste disposal.

Responsibilities

Managing and delegating job assignments to waste management team members.
Providing guidance to waste management team members.
Arranging disposal of client waste.
Organizing a steady flow of recyclable goods including large cardboard items, plastic, scrap, refuse, and wooden shipping pallets.
Ensuring all staff are trained on safety protocols and distribution of materials.
Maintaining a safe, respectful, and healthy work environment.
