About The Position

To complete waste removal as assigned and maintain the highest level of Fairmont Hotels Standard. To keep all immediate work areas clean and free from debris while adhering to all health and safety procedures of the hotel and kitchen.

Requirements

Must be highly motivated individual.
Must be able to understand written and spoken English.
Must be flexible with shift work hours.
Must be able to perform physically under pressure.
Must be able to handle a hot working environment.
Must be able to operate, lift, push and pull heavy equipment.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience an asset.

Responsibilities

Collect all garbage waste, food bins, glass, can and paper recycling and place in proper areas.
Collect used oil when drums are full.
Pick up and return bread racks and milk crates to stores area.
Remove any pallets to recycling room.
Prepare function stripping stations with the proper garbage and recycling equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of bins and storage areas.
Follow all health and safety rules outlined by the department and the hotel.
To uphold the highest standard of FH&R.
To complete all other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
