About The Position

We are seeking a Waste Cart Driver to join our team at ABM Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving across the facility, both indoors and outdoors, using a cart to collect trash bins and recycled waste for proper disposal. This role is a good fit for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

Ability to operate a cart safely and efficiently across various terrains.
Physical ability to lift waste materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in waste management or similar field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate a company-provided cart to navigate the facility.
Regularly collect trash bins and cardboard waste from designated locations across the facility.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling waste materials.
Safely transport collected waste to designated disposal areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and associated equipment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding waste collection schedules and any issues encountered during daily operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
