About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Waste Approvals Manager for our Casa Grande, AZ Facility. Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a detail oriented, collaborative Waste Approvals Manager to join our Arizona office. The ideal candidate will manage waste approval processes into the Arizona facility, support field and technical teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory and facility requirements. Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of direct experience in a waste approvals role
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Minimum of one year of TSDF experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to submit official college transcripts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation

Responsibilities

  • Provide Facility approval technical support to Field Operations and the Technical Service Department
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills across internal and external teams
  • Manage incoming and outgoing waste approvals for the facility
  • Lead and support regional specialists while meeting internal and external turnaround timelines
  • Maintain working knowledge of Waste Processing Software
  • Understand technical, customer service, and business components of Triumvirate operations
  • Supply accurate disposal facility information to TSRs and Account Managers
  • Maintain knowledge of The Arizona Facility
  • Manage Process Code Tables and Regulatory Tables within Suite
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for RCRA and DOT regulations for the Facility
  • Perform packing slip and profile quality checks (QCs)
  • Manage all approval requests into and out of the facility; Serve as gatekeeper protecting facility permit and license conditions.
  • Implement and support regional waste routing strategies
  • Deliver presentations to corporate audiences
  • Participate in employee training initiatives
  • Apply creative problem solving to unique operational challenges
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Travel several times per year as needed
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service (“WOW!” customers)
  • Other duties as assigned
