About The Position
The Washroom Operator is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring all tooling, uniforms, and cleaning supplies are properly maintained, cleaned, and distributed in a timely manner. This role follows all company policies and directions from the Washroom Supervisor to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to follow written instructions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work well with others
- Basic math skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for adhering to company rules and the direction given by the Washroom Supervisor
- Prepares tooling for upcoming orders and place it in a clean cart with a Slat Set-Up Sheet
- Washes all dirty tooling which was returned from the lines that are not needed and assists in those which are urgent
- Distributes detergents and alcohol to the lines
- Distributes lab coats and/or uniforms to employees
- Ensures the washroom and uniform room is always well maintained, clean and clutter-free throughout the day
- Distributes ear plugs and plastic bags to the production lines
- Documents the distribution and cleaning of tooling along with the mixture and distribution of detergents and alcohol
