About The Position

The Wash Rack Attendant is an entry-level role in the service department, responsible for washing and preparing equipment and helping maintain the wash pit and yard. The attendant may also perform simple repairs based on their individual skill set and assist service team members as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Good working knowledge of equipment operations.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist, and carry and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to climb and work at heights of 15 feet.
• Ability to work in all types of outside weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain excellent customer service.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the heavy equipment industry or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and operational activities in the service department.
• Clean and prepare all equipment.
• Keep equipment and the wash pit area clean.
• Clean the yard and move equipment on and off the wash rack.
• Assist technicians with loading and unloading machines.
• Assist service team members as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Regional Manager.
