Wash Bay Yard Attendant
About The Position
H&K Equipment is seeking a Wash Bay Attendant for immediate hire at our Coraopolis, PA shop. This position will assist our shop and rental fleet in cleaning and preparing a wide variety of industrial trucks including forklifts, floor sweepers & scrubbers, railcar movers, platform trucks, personnel carriers as well as other types of equipment. This is an entry level job, and we are willing to train the right candidate. A strong work ethic, the ability to come to work every day and a willingness to learn are all traits that will guarantee your success. Schedule is 7:30AM-4:00PM Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Customer service-driven attitude
- Must have clean, safe driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task accordingly
- Strong troubleshooting and follow up skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and clear work area
- Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check
Nice To Haves
- Prior mechanical experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
- Wash interior and exterior of rental trucks
- Small building maintenance as needed
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines, follow directions and work independently
