Wash Bay Attendant
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Alaska. We are looking for a Carwash Attendant to join our team. Our Wash Bay Attendants get to focus on providing Kendall patrons the best customer service while working within our Car Wash located at Kendall Ford of Wasilla. We offer ample opportunities for career advancement, whether you're interested in sales or service, this position will allow you to enter the auto industry and find the right career path. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. Wage range for this position starts at $17 per hour. Schedule will include evenings and weekends. Work is performed outdoors, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will be required to wash vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift. Join Kendall Auto Group and START SOMETHING GREAT! Requirements
- A valid driver license and good driving record is required
- the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions
Responsibilities
- operating an automatic car wash
- explaining wash services to customers
- using buckets, brushes, brooms, pressure washers, and hand tools to preform pre-washes on vehicles
- perform periodic maintenance on wash equipment
- keeping the facility clean and orderly
- assisting clients with all aspects of the wash process
