About The Position

This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas. This includes maintaining control of all parts, including gaskets, and replacing broken or missing parts. The role also involves helping to set up assigned departments or other lines. Additionally, the job holder will be responsible for mixing cleaning solutions and other chemicals, using chemicals to clean and sanitize all assigned machinery and areas, tearing down machinery at the beginning of the cleanup shift, and helping with setup before production starts in the morning. The position requires performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor, working cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers, following directions, and being able to work in other departments as needed. The role also includes performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
Clean up (parts) experience.

Nice To Haves

Poultry experience preferred but not required.
Basic Chemical understanding a strong plus.
