Wash Bay Attendant
About The Position
The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the wash bay attendant will be responsible for the washing and detailing of trucks and trailers. This role involves washing and detailing the exterior and interior of trucks, tankers and trailers, cleaning the wash bay as required when slow, general yard maintenance including snow removal, grass cutting, and emptying garbage bins, hose testing, and helping out with tire work and general shop duties. The position may require shift work and weekends.
Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be OK with heights and confined spaces, and be willing to do training for such
- Forklift Certification
Responsibilities
- Washing and detailing the exterior and interior of trucks, tankers and trailers
- Cleaning the wash bay as required when slow
- General yard maintenance including snow removal, grass cutting, emptying garbage bins
- Hose testing
- Helping out with tire work, general shop duties
