About The Position

Orla Mining is seeking a dedicated Wash Bay Attendant to join their Maintenance Department at the Musselwhite Mine. This role reports directly to the Musselwhite Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the cleaning, washing, and general upkeep of heavy equipment, light vehicles, and machinery used on-site. Orla Mining is focused on being an emerging gold producer of choice with a diversified asset base and a commitment to responsible gold mining, creating a net positive benefit and leaving a legacy beyond the life of their mines.

Requirements

Previous experience in a wash bay in a mining or heavy industry environment.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate light vehicles.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to do more than is expected or required in the position.
Strong commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Optionally, ability to operate equipment such as skid steers or forklifts

Responsibilities

Safely operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean mining vehicles and equipment.
Clean mud, dirt, oil, and debris from haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, service trucks, and light vehicles.
Ensure equipment is properly prepared for maintenance or inspection.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding work areas.
Perform routine inspections of cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Complete job logs and daily work reports as required.
Assist with minor facility maintenance and other general labor tasks as assigned.
