About The Position

This role is responsible for the opening of the plant, which includes turning off alarms, turning on lights, opening doors, and activating pumps and the boiler. The operator will sort garments, load washers, and ensure all garments left on the floor are handled. This position requires attention to detail in recording information, maintaining PPE, and efficiently managing the washroom operations using the conveyor system and chemwatch boards to ensure a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Opening of the plant, turn off alarm, turn on all lights, open doors and turn on pumps and boiler.
• Sort garments and start washers.
• Sling up all garments left on floor.
• Check all PPE, and lab coats for ink pens.
• Read load sheets and call for appropriate slings using conveyor system.
• Load and unload washers in a timely manner.
• Use the chemwatch boards and keep washroom flowing smoothly.
• Record weight, company and or route on washroom sheet.
