About The Position

Indiana Tech is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking professional to serve as its Warrior AI Readiness Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director of the AI Institute, this position leads Indiana Tech’s institution-wide artificial intelligence professional development strategy for faculty and staff. The Warrior AI Readiness Manager is responsible for building the infrastructure, resources, programming, and assessment tools that support AI readiness across the university and help create a culture of responsible, effective, and innovative AI adoption. The Warrior AI Readiness Manager serves as the architect and steward of Indiana Tech’s faculty and staff AI learning ecosystem. This includes oversight of the Warrior AI Digital Learning Hub, the university’s AI professional development programming calendar, AI-readiness assessments, learning analytics, recognition initiatives, and ongoing training opportunities designed to strengthen AI knowledge, confidence, and application across the institution. Working closely with the AI Faculty Strategist, Human Resources, Information Technology, and academic leadership, the Manager develops and delivers AI-focused workshops, seminars, retreats, communities of practice, and professional development experiences for faculty and staff. This role also supports institution-wide AI tool adoption, coordinates learning and readiness assessment efforts, and ensures programming remains aligned with emerging technologies, institutional priorities, and AIHE grant objectives. The Warrior AI Readiness Manager will oversee faculty and staff AI-readiness surveys and analytics, using data to identify development opportunities and guide institutional decision-making. The position also manages Warrior AI Shorts and other recognition programs that highlight innovative faculty and staff uses of AI and promote the sharing of effective practices across campus. Through partnerships with Human Resources and Information Technology, the Manager will help embed AI competencies into onboarding, professional development, and operational improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will monitor emerging AI trends, assess program effectiveness, support grant-related reporting and outcomes, and champion ethical, responsible, and secure AI use throughout the university.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, higher education, organizational development, computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, organizational development, instructional design, professional learning, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their application in higher education, workforce development, and organizational learning environments.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, engaging learning experiences for faculty and staff with varying levels of experience and technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering large-scale professional development, training, or organizational learning programs.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and engage stakeholders across all areas of the university.
  • Experience designing and delivering both online and face-to-face learning experiences.
  • Experience supporting organizational change initiatives and helping individuals adopt new tools, practices, and technologies.
