About The Position

This Warranty position is responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation, and reconciling payments with accuracy. The ideal candidate has dealership experience, with prior warranty processing knowledge preferred. The role involves processing warranty claims efficiently for all franchises or distributors, ensuring all warranty paperwork is complete and accurate, and verifying claims meet factory or distributor criteria. Responsibilities also include reconciling warranty receivables with payments according to accounting schedules, posting credits and updating records in dealership software, and following up on rejected claims. The position requires tracking and managing warranty parts, staying up to date on factory recalls, service bulletins, and warranty policies, and assisting other dealership teams as needed. Maintaining a professional appearance and an organized work area is also expected.

Requirements

  • Must have prior warranty processing experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic accounting or reconciliation experience.
  • Proficiency with computers and dealership management software.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with multiple automotive brands and factory warranty procedures.
  • Experience assisting multiple departments in a dealership setting.

Responsibilities
