About The Position

Mustang Cat is hiring a Warranty Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Warranty Department. This role is responsible for ensuring all Caterpillar warranty claims are submitted accurately and within required timelines while leading a team that supports service, parts, and customer needs. Requirements

College degree in Business, Management, Technical field, or related area (equivalent experience considered)
3+ years of warranty-related experience
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Caterpillar systems such as DBS, SIS, SIMSI, SIB, and ADZ142
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment

Responsibilities

Lead and manage warranty department employees, including hiring, training, development, and performance management
Ensure timely and accurate submission of warranty claims in accordance with Caterpillar guidelines
Work closely with service supervisors, customers, and other dealers to resolve warranty-related issues
Interpret job folders and submit claims to Caterpillar systems
Oversee preparation and processing of “Send-It-Back” parts returns
Register new machine and engine warranty coverage
Maintain accurate machine and engine delivery records
Monitor department performance and ensure high standards of accuracy and service
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
