About The Position

The Warranty Manager will oversee and coordinate all warranty-related activities during the initial phase of vessel operation. Serving as the primary point of contact, they will facilitate communication among all stakeholders, including vessel operations departments, shipyards, and contractors. Additionally, this position holds responsibility for leading the financial negotiations related to warranty settlements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Maritime
  • At least 3 years within a similar role in the maritime industry.
  • Confident using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above)
  • Demonstratable Team Working Skills
  • Good Communication Skills

Responsibilities

  • Tracking of warranty claims received from Ship's involved personnel.
  • Coordination with Crew members and Vessel Operations representative
  • Processing of the claims dealing with the Shipyard.
  • Supervising corrective actions performed by the Shipyard on board.
  • Discuss and coordinate with the Maritime Technology group specific technical solution to correct warranty claims
  • Warranty claim's negotiation with Shipyard during settlement agreement.
  • Coordinate the activities to be completed after the first year of warranty up to the first Vessel drydock
  • Preparing the design and repetitive warranty claim list to be shared and discussed with the Shipyard in conjunction with the lesson learned process set up by the Newbuilding team.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
