The primary responsibility of the Warranty Repair Technician is to repair or fix any issues that may be reported by an owner or dealer. This role involves performing fair and finish repairs for final gel coat application, matching new finishes to existing gel coat, spraying gel coat, wet sanding, and buffing. The technician will also spray nonskid gel coat and repair stringers and bulkheads. Additionally, the role requires the ability to de-rig and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems in the console and throughout the vessel, as well as replace basic 12-volt electrical items such as lights, horns, switches, batteries, and chargers. The individual must perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all required PPE and following safety policy and hazardous material guidelines, while also practicing good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
