Position Summary Provides service in customer support during field visits, managing all installation, repairs, maintenance, and test task. Develops and conducts product training programs.

Requirements

  • Mechanical and electrical background
  • Welding experience
  • Good communication/presentation skills
  • Good mechanical and electrical intuitiveness
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Ability to keep themselves updated on current and past product design
  • Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time
  • 50% - 75% Travel
  • Certified Welder
  • Continuous education on Aerial
  • CDL Class A License
  • Valid and Current Passport
  • Standing 85% of the time
  • Bending over multiple times throughout shift
  • Some sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching
  • Relocate or move 50 lbs.
  • Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift

Responsibilities

  • Trainer: Orientates new customer on truck operations and maintenance (travel required).
  • Trains dealers how to orientate new trucks.
  • Continually improves and makes sure all trainers are presenting the same information to fire departments.
  • Service Mechanic: Does infield repairs to trucks (travel required).
  • Maintenance: Assists production manager with maintenance projects as needed.
  • Assists production manager with building parts for in house projects as needed.
  • Assists production manager with building aerial items as needed
  • Participates/teaches in annual mechanical school training.
  • Assists with CRMs as needed.
  • Assists with calls that come in house as needed.
  • Assists in gathering parts and gets shipments out in a timely fashion as needed.
  • Assists in the coordination of training/familiarization schedules.
  • Develops a yearly individual development plan, in conjunction with your direct manager, and leads in the achievement of set goals through agreed upon status updates and deadlines.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
