We’re looking for an exceptional service technician to deliver the most efficient, highest quality customer experiences in residential HVAC repair. As an HVAC service technician, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed decisions. The hours are Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday to finish/complete a repair. There is no on-call with this position. If you love HVAC and are a technically skilled technician, but don’t love the selling aspect of the Service Technician role, this is the job for you!!

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of HVAC residential service experience.
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
Weekly activity reports that detail training activity.
Strong verbal and written communications.
High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.

Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.
Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blueprints and other diagrams.
Dependably maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to adhere to work schedule.
Collaboratively participate in team/huddle meetings.
Carefully work to ensure adherence to safety and quality of work standards.
Steadily improve both quality and speed over time.
Consistently live out company core values daily.
Enthusiastically motivated to learn the HVAC industry

Responsibilities

Complete HVAC in-home, service calls on equipment less than 10 years old.
Know how to establish customer rapport.
Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
Work along side customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
Knowledge of local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
Proven track record in heating and cooling systems.
Clean, safe driving record. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Strong verbal and written communications.
