Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is seeking a Warranty Processor for its dealership locations in Washington, including Pacific, WA, Ridgefield, WA, and Spokane, WA. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of related equivalent repair shop experience preferred.
  • Previous warranty processing experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarization with all phases of mechanical work performed at the dealership Service Department.
  • Must be professional and safety-minded at all times.
  • Strong computer and telephone skills.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and listening skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares vehicle warranty claims for entry into respective OEM systems, ensuring all supporting documentation is collected.
  • Processes warranty claims in accordance with the organization’s and manufacturers’ policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Proactively coaches service departments on warranty compliance guidelines and expectations.
  • Communicates directly and effectively with shop management to achieve the highest recovery rates.
  • Checks and trains other team members to verify chassis and components for Warranty.
  • Is proficient with the warranty workflow processes within the company software system, Procede.
  • Communicates with management regarding the status of warranty jobs, pending claims, and requests for further information from OEMs.
  • Reconciles submitted claims, identifying and processing rejects that are out of established warranty guidelines, and documenting quality improvements.
  • Supports the Accounting department in accurately coding and reconciling OEM warranty payments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
