Requirements

  • Skills & Abilities: Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Utilizes problem solving skills for business related issues and works proactively to find solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and make adjustments as needed.
  • Requires ability to read, hear, speak, comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Must be able to stay organized and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of parts warranty and service.
  • 1 year of warranty experience.
  • 1-3 years in RV or automotive field.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and track all warranty return parts from technicians.
  • Catalog all parts as they come into warranty return area.
  • Communicate with warranty departments to determine part return requisitions.
  • Take pictures of the returned part and upload to the warranty picture server.
  • Package and create shipping labels for parts return.
  • Create and maintain a warranty tracker with parts information, tracking number, return date and any other relevant information.
  • Ship parts to manufacturer.
  • Discard returned parts that don’t require shipping to manufacturer.
  • Label and shelf warranty return parts.
  • Ensure all warranty parts are rotated in 30- or 60-days intervals.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturer regarding warranty parts.
  • Ensure warranty parts are logged and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Provide coverage and/or assistance for other service & warranty staff if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
